The weather here in the deep South is wonderful . . .
highs in the upper 70s - low 80s, bright and sunny, low humidity,
the rain has slacked off and the ground is finally drying
it is a great time to be in the great outdoors!!
Or at least it would be if it was not the HEIGHT of pollen season.
EVERYTHING is covered with a layer of yellow-green dust.
ACHOO!
(insert wrinkled brow & scrunchy eyes from sinus headache here)
I hope you are faring better in your "neck of the woods"
PORCH BIRD UPDATE: The little mother is doing well, she keeps flying out of the nest every time we open the door so I have not been able to get more pictures. May try this weekend to see if there are eggs in the nest.
It was such a beautiful day here in Dallas, but the pollen has my sinuses swollen to the max. My teeth are so sore! But there must be opposition in all things, right? :)
ReplyDeleteWe are having beautiful weather in South Carolina too! Supposed to be in the low 80s today. The trees are just beginning to bud, but the flowering trees are in bloom as well as forsythia and daffodils! We have green pollen dust in our neck of the woods, but not yet. I hate that stuff!
ReplyDeleteHope you find some little bird eggs.
The butterfly is really pretty. Yes it's so nice to have much nicer weather! I was so sick of snow! Can't wait to see birdie progress.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a beautiful ay here in Michigan too - 80!!! But I hear you on the pollen - my son has bad allergies and I can tell he's not going to have too good of a day today!!
