Stay-cation Update

Our porch bird is still caring for her eggs.
We keep listening for the sound of chicks.
It is the height of azalea season,
guess all that cold weather was good for them.
That "bush" is almost 2 stories high!

Knock-out roses by the dozens in all shades of pink and happy-faced pansies.

What a beautiful day with wonderfully mild temperatures!

I brought my stitching with me, but it never made it out of the bag.
I even tried to stop by a LNS,
but arrived 30 minutes after it closed.

Still had a wonderful time!
I highly recommend a stay-cation, all of the fun - none of the fuss!

Wishing all my blogging buddies and equally beautiful weekend!

  4. I love azaleas. Ours are in full bloom, and our knock out roses have rebounded splendidly from a very cold winter. So pretty! You should mount a little mirror or something above that nest so you can see the babies when they hatch!

  5. Beautiful flowers. Ours still have a way to go before they're ready to bloom. It will be great fun to see pictures of when the eggs hatch.

  7. Glad everyone likes the flowers, I thought it was a nice counterpoint to everyone's snow pictures this winter.

Natalie, thanks for the mirror idea. We will try to make it work.
